CIC Pop‑Up Think Tank: Reimagining CTF
The DC Corrections Information Council (CIC) is facilitating its next CIC Pop‑Up Think Tank, entitled "Reimagining CTF," on Thursday, July 14, 2016, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The DC Department of Corrections (DOC) will assume operations of the Correctional Treatment Facility (CTF) on February 1, 2017.

The DC Corrections Information Council held its first CIC Pop-Up Think Tank on 4/26/16, entitled: “Engaging Families for Successful Reentry.” Thirty-three attendees were actively engaged in providing information and ideas to improve family engagement with loved ones who are incarcerated far from home. The CIC program analysts have produced a summary of this event, here.

DOC Inspection FY26Q3: CTF Women's Facility Inspection Report - May 2026
This report presents the findings and recommendations from the CIC's inspection of DOC's Correctional Treatment Facility conducted in May of 2026. This inspection focused on conditions of confinement for female residents at the DOC. The attachment below details the DOC's response.

This report details the CIC's findings and recommendations for the June 2026 inspections of the DC Department of Corrections. The CIC visited the Central Detention Facility (CDF), the Correctional Treatment Facility (CTF), and the Central Cell Block (CCB). The DOC's response is included as a separate attachment below.
CIC January Open Meeting 2020
The next CIC Open Meeting will occur on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 6pm. The location will be 1400 I Street NW, Suite 400, Washington, DC 20005. The last 30 minutes of the meeting will be closed to discuss a board related matter.
