The Corrections Information Council will hold an open meeting on June 7, 2018, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. The meeting will be held at Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) 100 42nd St NE, Washington, DC 20019. Featuring a presentation from CIC Board Chair Charles Thornton on the 8th International Conference on Human Rights & Prison Reform (CURE) held in Kigali, Rwanda, focusing on the Rwanda experience and the use of restorative justice and reconciliation in response to the genocide of 1994.
