CIC Holiday Postcard Writing 2017

Join the DC Corrections Information Council (CIC) again in 2017 in signing postcards for over 4,000 DC residents who are incarcerated in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP). Maintaining community ties is one way to improve conditions of confinement and successful reentry for justice-involved individuals. Here's an opportunity for the community to send holiday cheer into prisons across the US.

The DC Corrections Information Council (CIC) and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia (PDS) are convening the first annual DC Prisoner & Reentry Symposium on Friday, March 10, 2017, at the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law. This annual event will focus on issues affecting incarceration and successful reentry. Improving positive outcomes for all justice-involved persons is improving the success and public safety of all of the District of Columbia. Let’s come together on March 10 to build a combined momentum for a better DC for all of us
