Following CIC visit to USP Hazelton on October 3, 2018, the CIC sent a letter to the Acting Director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Hugh Hurwitz. In the letter, the CIC addresses some observations and recommendations based on the October 3rd visit and information from others since the CIC visit. The CIC received a response from the BOP in reference to this letter on March 21, 2019.
