On April 9, 2020 the CIC sent a letter addressed to the BOP Director, Michael Carvajal about the growing concerns for DC inmates within BOP facilities during the time of the coronavirus pandemic.  The letter also addresses the recent consideration for certain inmates to be released into home confinement due to the impact of the coronavirus within BOP facilities.
