CIC Inspection: Fairview Halfway House

Wednesday, April 25, 2018
Fairview RCC

As part of its mandate to inspect Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) facilities housing incarcerated DC residents, the DC Corrections Information Council (CIC) conducted an onsite inspection of Fairview Residential Reentry Center (RRC) a women’s halfway house in the District of Columbia, on May 3, 2018. Fairview RCC houses female residents under the supervision of BOP, DC Department of Corrections (DOC), and Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA). The CIC urges you to contact the CIC if you have any information you would like to share regarding this facility.

During the inspection, the CIC toured the facility, evaluated programming, and spoke with DC residents and staff. The CIC spoke to DC residents who were willing and available to speak with us during our visit.

The CIC encourages anyone with knowledge about the conditions of confinement at this facility to contact us with their experiences or information.
