Kareem McCraney, Senior Program Analyst

Kareem McCraney is a Senior Program Analyst for the DC Corrections Information Council (CIC). He is responsible for compiling data and composing reports on the conditions of confinement and programming provided to DC youth offenders in BOP & DOC custody. These reports are utilized to ensure that incarcerated DC residents have all the necessary programs available to them, and that these programs are conducive to their rehabilitation while in the custody of the BOP & DOC.

Prior to joining the CIC, Kareem worked as a Paralegal at the law firm of Cozen O’Connor, and as a Community Outreach Coordinator/Violence Interrupter for J&J Monitoring in Ward 8. In this capacity, Kareem was responsible for connecting families with various government agencies to ensure that their needs were met, in addition to providing a positive platform for at risk youth within those communities to deter them from violence.

Kareem obtained his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from Ashworth College, and received his Paralegal Certification from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.
