The Fairview Residential Reentry Center (hereinafter, Fairview) in Northeast Washington, DC is a residential reentry center (RRC), or halfway house, designated for female residents in custody who are scheduled for release. Fairview is owned and operated by Reynolds and Associates, Inc. Fairview can house both Bureau of Prisons’ (BOP) and DC Department of Corrections’ (DOC) female offenders: BOP offenders consist of females who are convicted of either federal offenses or DC Code felonies. DOC offenders consist of females who are either pretrial status, work release participants, or convicted of misdemeanors. As of this report, there were no DOC offenders. The report below contains CIC findings and recommendations. This BOP facility's response will be posted below upon receipt.
