Throughout the 2022 fiscal year, the CIC was able to get back to conducting standard, regular on-site inspections of DOC facilities. In March and April, the CIC conducted on-site visits to CTF, CDF, CCB, where staff could record their findings and make recommendations. Another visit to focus on the women's population at CTF was conducted in May of 2022. The CIC then made follow-up inspections to CTF and CDF in July. This report contains a summary of the CIC's findings and recommendations on DOC activity throughout FY22 as well as updates on the fulfillment of those recommendations.
