Sydney Lang is a Program Analyst for the DC Corrections Information Council. 

Prior to the CIC, Ms. Lang worked in multiple areas of justice advocacy including counseling young adults, working with adults in custody, domestic violence survivors, and community and confidence building with young women. In these positions, she multitasked as a community liason, writer, data analyst, and research assistant. Additionally, she has published articles surrounding social justice issues and human rights violations in the justice system for the Oxford Human Rights Hub, the International Affairs Forum, and American University’s Public Purpose Journal. 

Ms. Lang obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The University of Alabama in 2020. Additionally, she received her Masters of Science in Criminology with a focus in Public Policy from American University in 2022.
