
Natasha Dasher is dedicated to empowering returning citizens to realize and achieve their fullest potential. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Delaware State University, and brings more than two decades of experience in small business development, strategic operations, and entrepreneurship. Ms. Dasher’s commitment to advocacy emerged as her professional expertise and personal experiences converged, revealing her life’s purpose—supporting the successful reintegration of returning citizens. She has served as Commissioner for Returning Citizens and Reentry Affairs for the District of Columbia, later assuming the role of Chair of the Commission. Additionally, she has served as Co-Chair of the DC Democratic Caucus for Returning Citizens, and remains an active facilitator in her church’s Prison Ministry.
A proud fourth-generation Washingtonian, Ms. Dasher is also a devoted mother and grandmother who strives to create opportunities for others through mentorship, leadership, and community engagement. Her work continues to inspire and transform the lives of men and women seeking to rebuild and redefine their futures.
