Chrisiant Bracken joined the CIC as a program analyst in September 2018. Previously, she worked with the Prisoners’ Rights Office of the Vermont Office of the Defender General, and with Prisoners Legal Services of New York, providing civil legal services and post-conviction assistance to state prisoners. She has worked with incarcerated individuals from death row at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, to solitary confinement at Attica Correctional Facility in New York, to DC jail and CTF.
Prior to law school, Chrisiant provided social and legal services to a variety of vulnerable populations in DC, including immigrant and refugee families and domestic violence survivors. Chrisiant is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, and a member of the Bars of Massachusetts and New York State.
